FAQs

What does Opulence do?

We create bespoke wine experiences for corporate clients and take care of everything that comes with them. Our role is to make planning feel easy, guide you to the right vineyard and design an event that genuinely works for your guests. From the first conversation to the final goodbye, we manage every detail, including transport, so you don’t have to.

Are vineyard events suitable for corporate clients?

Absolutely. Vineyards offer privacy, calm and a sense of occasion that many traditional venues struggle to replicate. With natural daylight and sweeping vineyard views they are the perfect escape from the usual boardroom.

How easy is it to organise a corporate event at a vineyard?

With Opulence, we make your life easy. We lead the process, ask the right questions early on and handle the moving parts behind the scenes. Clients often tell us the whole experience feels far more straightforward than planning a typical corporate event.

Do you manage the event end-to-end?

We do. From recommending the right vineyard through to hosting on the day, we manage the entire experience. Beyond the logistics, we design days that feel thoughtfully put together – often including elements clients wouldn’t necessarily think to ask for, but which make a real difference to how the event flows and how guests feel. You’ll have one point of contact, a clear plan, and the confidence that every detail has been considered from start to finish.

Will I need to coordinate multiple suppliers?

No. We manage vineyards, catering, transport and any additional elements as one joined-up plan. You won’t be chasing suppliers or juggling timelines – that all sits with us.

How far in advance do I need to book?

This depends on the time of year and the vineyard, but booking a few months ahead usually gives the best choice. That said, we regularly deliver events with shorter lead times so please do get in touch and we will be more than happy to help.

What happens if the weather is poor?

We plan for that from the outset. All vineyards we recommend have high-quality indoor spaces, and we design events so they work just as well whatever the weather decides to do.

What types of corporate events does Opulence offer?

We design client entertainment, team away days, leadership off-sites, strategy sessions, retreats, reward experiences, networking events, in-office tastings, product launches – you name it, we plan it! Each event is shaped around why you’re bringing people together, rather than forcing everything into a set format.

Can vineyard events be tailored for different objectives?

Yes — that’s where they really shine. Some events need focus and structure, others benefit from a more relaxed flow. We design the pace, layout and experience around your objectives and audience.

Can events include meetings as well as hospitality?

They can, and many of our events do. Vineyards often offer private meeting spaces alongside hospitality areas, allowing formal discussions to sit comfortably alongside tastings, tours or shared meals.

What does a typical corporate vineyard day look like?

There’s no template, but a typical day might begin with a welcome glass of sparkling wine, followed by a vineyard tour, guided tasting and a relaxed lunch overlooking the vines. The day is always designed to feel natural, not over-programmed.

Are experiences flexible or fixed packages?

All of our events are bespoke. We don’t work from fixed packages because every group, objective and vineyard is different.

How do you choose the right vineyard for an event?

We start by understanding what you’re trying to achieve, who your guests are and how the day needs to work. From there, we recommend vineyards that genuinely fit — considering atmosphere, layout, privacy and how the event will flow on the day.

Do you work with one vineyard or several?

We work with a carefully curated portfolio of vineyards across Kent. That means we can stay objective and recommend the right setting for each event, rather than defaulting to a single venue.

Are all vineyards suitable for corporate events?

No — and this is where our guidance really matters. Some vineyards are beautiful but don’t work well for corporate groups in practice. We only recommend vineyards we know can deliver a smooth, professional experience.

Can Opulence recommend a vineyard based on our objectives?

Yes. Matching the right vineyard to the right brief sits at the heart of what we do.

Is this suitable for clients who don’t drink alcohol?

Absolutely. Non-alcoholic options are always available, and the experience can be adapted to include local juice tastings, as well as as including additional elements such as nature walks and biodiversity talks throughout the vineyard tour.

Can events be inclusive for different dietary or accessibility needs?

Yes. We work closely with vineyards and suppliers to accommodate dietary requirements and accessibility considerations wherever possible.

Where are your vineyard experiences located?

Our experiences take place at leading vineyards across Kent, an area known for quality English wine and beautiful yet accessible countryside.

How accessible are Kent vineyards from London?

All our partner vineyards are within an hour London, making them ideal for day events as well as overnight experiences.

Do you arrange transport for guests?

Yes. We arrange transport as part of the overall event plan, ensuring guests arrive and depart smoothly.

Can events include overnight accommodation?

Of course. We work with trusted accommodation partners nearby, such as Chilston Park Hotel and can incorporate overnight stays, wine-paired evening dinners and additional experiences at the hotel.

Is there a minimum or maximum group size?

Group size depends on the vineyard and the way the experience is designed. We’ll advise on what works best once we understand your numbers and objectives.

Why should we choose Opulence?

Clients choose us because we make vineyard events work in practice. We understand corporate expectations, we know the vineyards inside out, and we take care of the whole experience — so everything feels easy and considered.

What makes Opulence different from booking a vineyard directly?

We’re not tied to one vineyard. That allows us to advise honestly, recommend the right vineyard for your event and manage the experience as a whole, rather than just securing a space. We have access to create experiences that you simply cannot get when going direct, including visiting two separate vineyards in one day.

Are vineyard events a sustainable choice for corporate hospitality?

Absolutely. Our partner vineyards operate with sustainability at their core, making them a thoughtful alternative to more traditional venues. By holding your corporate event in a vineyard, you are not only supporting English wine, but many other local English suppliers.

How do we get started with Opulence?

It starts with a conversation either over the phone or via email, whatever works best for you. We take time to understand your brief, objectives and practical considerations and go from there.

What information do you need to create a proposal?

Guest numbers, preferred dates, objectives, budget range and any specific requirements help us shape a tailored proposal. However, if you are unsure of what you are looking for, we can provide an overview of what experiences can look like and shape the experience from there.
