Woodchurch Vineyard, established in 2009, is a family-owned estate on the edge of the picturesque village of Woodchurch in Kent. Set on rolling hills with sweeping views south over the ancient Romney Marsh and down to the English Channel, the vineyard benefits from a unique microclimate that is ideal for growing exceptional English grapes. With over 12 acres under vine, the estate cultivates a mix of classic varieties, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Bacchus, which thrive in the fertile soils and temperate climate of this stunning location.
A Story of Family & Terroir
Woodchurch Wine Estate was founded in 2009 by Graham and Donna Barbour, and the first vines were planted in 2010. Over time it has become one of Kent’s boutique estates, producing both still and sparkling wines from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Bacchus. The vineyard is perched on a gentle slope overlooking the ancient Romney Marsh, with south-facing exposure that captures light and character.

Each visit to Woodchurch with Opulence is designed to feel relaxed, engaging and deeply personal. Begin with a guided vineyard walk and an intimate tasting hosted by Graham, featuring a selection of still and sparkling wines – including limited vintages not usually available to the public.
