Planted in 2006, the Squerryes vineyards span 36 acres of prime chalk-rich soil. This unique landscape, coupled with a long, cool growing season, allows the estate to craft elegant, complex wines exclusively from hand-harvested Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes.

Squerryes is one of Kent’s most enchanting estates, where winemaking and heritage intertwine. Part of the 2,500-acre Warde family estate, it has belonged to the same family for eight generations. Their motto, Licet Esse Beatis – “it is permitted to be joyful” – sets the tone. Squerryes produces vintage sparkling wines from estate fruit grown high on the North Downs chalk soils, and has won multiple gold medals in international awards.
