Established in 2016 by the Ashford family, Wayfarer is a boutique, family-run vineyard located in Woodchurch, Kent. The estate encompasses two vineyards totalling just over 8 acres under vine, with plans to expand by an additional 7.5 acres in the near future. Specialising exclusively in still wines, Wayfarer focuses on producing exceptional quality over quantity, allowing the characteristic flavours of the grapes to develop to their fullest potential.
A Story of Family, Still Wine & Kent Terroir
Wayfarer Wines is a family-run vineyard in Kent, founded by the Ashford family. They manage two vineyards covering just over 8 acres under vine, having planted their first vines back in 2016 behind the family home. Unlike many English estates, they focus on still wines, crafting each bottle with precision, patience and a deep respect for place. This is a vineyard where the winemaking journey is visible, and every sip tells a story of care, climate and Kent soil.
