For the third year in a row, Opulence was delighted to sponsor the winners’ English sparkling wine at the Food and Drink Federation Awards.
Bringing together more than 600 guests, the annual awards celebrate the businesses and individuals driving innovation, growth and excellence across the UK food and drink industry.
This year, Opulence partnered with Gusbourne to ensure every award winner received a particularly special bottle with which to celebrate their achievement: Gusbourne’s 2020 Blanc de Blancs.
Celebrating success with English sparkling wine
English wine has become an increasingly impressive choice for corporate celebrations, awards and gifting. It offers businesses an opportunity to recognise important achievements with something distinctive, beautifully presented and produced closer to home.
The FDF Awards provide a fitting platform on which to showcase the quality of English sparkling wine. Presenting every winner with a bottle of Gusbourne’s vintage Blanc de Blancs created a memorable connection between two British industries renowned for their ambition and innovation.
For Opulence, returning as a sponsor for the third consecutive year was a wonderful opportunity to support the food and drink sector while helping each winner celebrate their success.
A partnership with Gusbourne
Based in Appledore, Kent, Gusbourne is known for producing vintage English wines with a strong focus on quality and craftsmanship.
Opulence regularly partners with Gusbourne to create bespoke corporate wine experiences at the estate, from private vineyard tours and limited-edition tastings to seasonal wine-paired dining. Partnering with the team for this year’s FDF Awards was therefore a natural extension of that relationship.
